A BRITISHER WALKED FROM KANYAKUMARI TO KOLKATA TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE CHARITY

We have been listening the stories of people doing unbelievable tasks for humankind. Few might give up their property and others may devote half of their income to poors or charitable homes. Here is a story of a Britisher named Patrick Baddeley. He walked 2,500KM from southern part of India to the eastern most part. He is aBritish retiree and walked through the East coast to raise money for anon-profit organisation based in Kolkata. He started his journey in October last year and crossed Odisha, Tamil Nadu to reach Kolkata in the month of February.
The whole journey has been shown in the form of documentary made by himself. The purpose of taking a walk was to raise fun for the non-profit society based in Kolkata named Future Hope which generally provide food, shelter, and schooling to poor children. He was able to raise almost ₹10 Lakhs.
He came to India in 1973 as a student and then married and settled here only. After that he never looked back. He has dedicatedhis walk between two places to his late third daughter Katie. He says that he started his walk from Kanyakumari and then metmany people in between.
