A delegation of entrepreneurs from Canada accompanied by some Indian entrepreneurs today called on Speaker of Punjab Assembly Rana KP Singh here at his official residence to promote technology of converting garbage to energy in the state. They also offered solution for the soil pollution caused by the use of fertilizers and pesticides in the agriculture sector. Rana KP Singh assured the delegation that he would discuss their offers and suggestions for Punjab with the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. Revealing this here today, an official spokesman of Punjab Government said that a delegation comprising Mr. Rakesh Sharma, CEO Quick Way International Export Import Inc., Prof. Mahabala Adiga, President and CTO of Smart Energy Storage Systems and Smart Zero Energy Buildings and Mr. N. Vasudevan, Director, Innovative Occupational Health and Environment, gave a presentation on the application of the green technology to cope up with the emerging challenges of environment pollution.
